Video Official
A Video Official is someone who uses video replay technology to help make or review decisions during sports events. This role has become increasingly important in modern sports as leagues aim to make more accurate calls. Video Officials watch multiple camera angles of plays or actions during games to help the on-field officials make correct decisions about controversial moments. They're sometimes called Replay Officials, VAR (Video Assistant Referee) Officials, or Video Review Specialists, depending on the sport.
